What is the 14 Day Food Challenge?
We have put together an amazing food challenge online that you can do by yourself or with friends, family and workmates. We believe that a clean diet is 80% of weight loss. Our SECRET for dropping weight and keeping it off for the rest of your life is not dieting, excessive exercise and counting calories. That’s too hard!
Our secret is eating lots of healthy food that has not been processed, eating small meals, moving the body everyday and following an alkaline lifestyle – eating an alkaline food at every meal, reducing stress, drinking lots of water, moving the body everyday and taking an alkaline supplement such as barley grass and spirulina.
Don’t worry, this website has loads of information on how to be more Alkaline. If your body is Acidic, you will not lose FAT. This is a reason we believe so many people are overweight and unhappy. The aim of the 14 day food challenge is to introduce you to alternative healthy foods to replace the unhealthy vices you might have such as sugar, alcohol, white bread, processed foods and junk food.
These foods and drinks in our opinion, make you fat, tired, irritable, sick, and crave sugar. Giving your body a rest from the poison found in processed foods and fuelling them with power from living foods allows the body to detoxify and be energised from within . . . a perfect foundation for you to achieve fat loss.
You will be surprised that after a few days of not having a particular food you may not ever crave that food again! The challenge comes with a checklist, and your goal is to complete the checklist of foods to eat and not eat every day. If you cheat, you are out of the challenge and must start again! These 14 days must be adhered to so your body can cleanse and detox itself.
If you cheat on day five because you eat some sugar-coated junk food then the 14 day food challenge must be started again. You start day one again, and attempt to complete the challenge once again. If you have signed up with friends or family, then stick together and support each other to finish the 14 days.
The most important thing in this challenge is to be honest with yourself and to your fellow challengers. If you cheat at any time, you will not be able to proceed to the next day. If this happens, have a day off, rethink your goals and start again.
You must see these 14 days as breaking old destructive habits and your first little test of discipline. 14 days to shock your body and mind and give you that important break in behaviour and habit. This allows you to make long lasting changes.
It is always fun to do the challenge with your family, friends or workmates, so make a game of it! Everyone puts in $50 at the start of the challenge, and if you complete the challenge you get your $50 back, if you don't you lose $50 and it goes into the jackpot at the end of the 14 days for whoever is left - which now means that when you reach for that glass of wine or chocolate bar, it is now worth $50. It works really well.
Another way, if you all get through the 14 days with no one cheating, then you all treat yourself to a massage or all get your nails done together, or go out for dinner & drinks to celebrate! The money you will save by not eating processed foods and drinking alcohol will surprise you! Give it a go!
